HOLISTIC MENTAL HEALTH
CONNECT. AWAKEN. EMBODY

WHY KYANITE?
Kyanite is the stone of attunement. It is formed under great pressure. It has calming & grounding properties, helps balance the subtle energies and aids in removing emotional blocks, along with helping us find our voice, it also evokes wisdom and awakens intuition.
Essentially, these qualities also are some of the underlying treasures we have within ourselves that help us relieve much of our suffering and allow us to thrive. By weaving mind, body, & spirit into mental health for an integrative approach, we too can unearth these attributes & become more fully embodied joyful humans.

COME AS YOU ARE…..
All of you is welcome! You are worthy to live the life you desire- you are worthy of thriving! You are more than your trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, & struggles. I am committed to being a wise companion on your journey & to providing a loving compassionate container for your process.
“Every human has a true authentic self. Trauma is the disconnection from it. Healing is the reconnection to it.”

YOGA & MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness techniques bring us into the present moment and allow us to tap into our “observer selves.” Being in this state helps us be less attached to our emotions and witness them as fluid instead of a fixed part of our beings. Yoga and mindfulness help us expand our window of tolerance and teach us healthy coping skills. Trauma informed yoga provides choice, tones the vagal nerve, expands our capacity for self compassion, and helps us reconnect to our bodies. Reclaiming our inherent wisdom and sovereignty in our bodies liberates us from all the less than ideal memories & emotions that have been stored there over time.

ECO THERAPY
Eco therapy utilizes nature as a tool and co-regulator of the nervous system. Being in nature restores balance to the mind and body and helps us reconnect to self as a part of nature. Ecotherapy benefits include a boost in mood, improved focus, increased problem solving skills and creativity and is inherently mindful- which has it’s own benefits as well. I offer nature based mindfulness groups as well as individual Eco therapy sessions or eco therapy can be built into your treatment plan based on your needs.

Integrative Couples Sessions;Restore Conscious Connection
Couples counseling that integrates Imago relationship therapy with a somatic & nervous system lens offers a powerful approach to healing and connection. Imago therapy focuses on the unconscious patterns partners bring into their relationships, often rooted in childhood experiences, which shape how they react to each other. By becoming aware of these patterns and the experience of the other, couples can foster deeper empathy and understanding and reclaim connection.
Additionally, a somatic & nervous system perspective enhances this process by recognizing how trauma and stress are stored in the body, influencing emotional responses and interaction styles. Many conflicts trigger the nervous system’s fight, flight, or freeze responses, leading to miscommunication or emotional shutdown. Through somatic awareness and regulation techniques, partners learn to identify physical sensations linked to emotional reactions and develop skills to calm the nervous system.
Combining these approaches helps couples not only intellectually understand each other’s experiences but also reconnect on a biological level. This integration promotes safety and attunement, allowing partners to break habitual cycles of reactivity and create more conscious, compassionate interactions. Ultimately, couples counseling through Imago and somatic nervous system frameworks supports deeper healing, resilience, and intimacy. This approach recognizes that emotional experiences are deeply connected to the body’s physiological states. Most conflicts and misunderstandings in relationships are not just cognitive or verbal but are influenced by how each partner’s nervous system responds to stress, threat, or connection. With a focus on healing the space between through dialogue, mindfulness and empathy, we have the power to weave a new tapestry of our love.
